College Name:
National Institute of Technology, Karnataka

Conference Name: International Conference on Global Challenges, Policy Framework & Sustainable Development For Mining Of Mineral And Fossil Energy Resources

 About Conference:
The International Conference on "Global Challenges and Policy Framework for Mining of Mineral and Fossil Energy Resources (GCPF: 2015-20)" is organized by National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal at Mangalore, India. The conference aims to foster discussion and dialogue among Engineers, Technologists, Academicians, Researchers, Policy Makers and Government on the critical problems faced by the extraction of Mineral and Fossil Energy Resources.

In the current context of resource scarcity, unscientific over exploitation and large scale environmental degradation, there is an urgent need to evolve sustainable mineral/mining industries strategies. The Department of Mining Engineering of NITK Surathkal intends to bring leading experts in Earth Resource Engineering pertaining to Mineral, Coal and Petroleum Sectors under one platform to discuss the policy framework and technological innovations necessary for holistic development of the sectors.

The theme of GCPF: 2015-20 is " Development strategies for optimal exploitation of non-renewable mineral/energy resources - a policy framework for 2015-20 and beyond ". The organizing committee is looking forward to welcoming all the experts to the sylvan surroundings at the port city of Mangalore, India. A World class conference experience is awaiting you. Do join us and through your contributions evolve a completely new paradigm of development for mineral/energy resources. An enthusiastic team is working together to make GCPF: 2015-20 at Mangalore a grand success.

Date of Conference:17th & 18th April 2015
