About Event: Crystal Growth Centre, Anna University, Chennai - 600 025, India is an internationally acclaimed Centre of Excellence in the field of Crystal Growth Research and Technology. The Centre is a UGC-National Facility and is also  sponcered by DST-FIST. During the yesteryears since its inception in the year 1982, Crystal Growth Centre has grown several crystals covering a broad range of characteristics. Apart from research and development, Crystal Growth Centre has been periodically organizing Crystal Growth

Seminars/ Schools/ Conferences/ Symposia to provide a platform to discuss the latest developments in the field of crystal growth research and technology. So far, 24 similar National programs and more than 20 International Programs have been successfully organized at the Crystal Growth Centre. More than 175 researchers from Crystal Growth Centre have received their doctoral degree awarded by the Anna University. At present, the Centre has 9 teaching faculty of international repute and about 50 research scholars are in the roll doing Ph.D.

Paper Format: The one page (A4 size) abstracts of papers including Figures/references in duplicate should carry the title of the paper, names oft he authors and addresses and the salient features of paper in Times Roman font 12 and spacing between 1.5 lines. The abstracts should reach the convener on or before 31 December, 2014.

To Submit Paper: Students should enclose a recommendation letter from the Supervisor/HOD along with the registration form.
